This collection documents James H. Quello’s rich legacy as an FCC Commissioner and Acting Chairman (1974-1999) and contains speeches, statements, correspondence, news articles, reports, photographs, and films. Predominantly, the collection focuses on his prolific career as a FCC Commissioner. The video recordings are the only records in the collection of events and lectures at the James H. and Mary B. Quello Center. The manuscript collection reflects his decision-making and regulatory philosophies throughout his career as an FCC Commissioner. Of particular interest are Quello’s correspondence, statements, and speeches related to children’s programming and personal communications services (PCS).
Note that individual documents have tags – this means you can click on the tags and find other content with the same tag. For instance, clicking on “FCC” will bring up other FCC-related material. Or use the search bar at the bottom of the page to search for other terms.
