Ganchimeg (Gana) Namsrai

Ganchimeg (Gana) Namsrai holds a Master’s degree in Media and Information from Michigan State University through the Fulbright Scholarship. She is currently a Post-Degree Academic Trainee at the Quello Center at MSU, and her research focuses on AI governance and media and information policy.

Before pursuing her graduate studies, Gana worked in Mongolia as a researcher and media development professional. She conducted national-level studies on media issues, supported media self-regulation initiatives, and facilitated collaboration among the media, civil society, and government. She also led initiatives to promote youth engagement in democratic processes, including efforts to increase voter participation through reliable information campaigns and research on election dynamics.
