Umair Tajin is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Computational Data Science with a minor in Business. His research centers on assisting with the collection and analysis of data on digital inequalities, focusing on programs aimed at overcoming digital divides. Umair is involved in gathering data on the extent of digital discrepancies, as well as summarizing relevant policy documents and academic literature.
In addition, Umair is utilizing data visualization software to create models that represent these digital gaps. He has coursework experience in data analysis, computational modeling, data structures and algorithms, and statistics.
