Connect Michigan is hosting the 2014 Connect Michigan Broadband Summit, a non-profit organization tasked with facilitating the expansion of broadband access, adoption, and use throughout the state, will host a broadband and technology conference Wednesday, October 29, 2014. As its organisers note: “Broadband and technology are critical to positioning Michigan at the forefront of the digital economy.” The conference will bring together “community leaders from education, libraries, economic development, local government, healthcare, and technology sectors to share and learn cross-collaborative best practices for expanding broadband and technology access, adoption, and use and move Michigan to the forefront of the digital economy.” All of us at the Quello Center see this as an opportunity for MSU faculty and students to build connections with state and local business and industry, government agencies and regulatory officials, and non-governmental organisations engaged in service delivery across the state. The Director of the Quello Center, Bill Dutton, and Professors Johannes Bauer and Sheila Cotten will be participating in the conference. We hope you can consider attending.
